Forrest Yoga Classes

All classes are now online

Join me on Zoom Tuesdays and Saturdays 10-11am, and Thursdays 12-1pm for a much needed healing Forrest Yoga practice. Breathing and connecting to core, exploring and playing within safety of our homes. Open to all levels. Classes are 6£ per session or two classes for 10£. If you are hit financially during this period please get in touch. I want yoga to be accessible for all. My journey into yoga

I wish I could say I started teaching yoga classes very young while travelling through India and spending years in caves and mountains with my yoga Guru. In short, I didn’t. However, I can say that even when I was a wee lass my two favourite things were helping everyone and travelling. In the long run, my travels brought me to Edinburgh and the teachings of Forrest Yoga. The things that I can help you with as a Yoga teacher, Massage Therapist and Energy Healer (among others) are:

What I teach

All my yoga classes are inspired by the Forrest yoga and Yin yoga which are focused on healing and caring for yourself and your body.

Forrest Yoga

My Forrest Yoga classes are designed to build up strength while practising kindness toward yourself.  Forrest Yoga is a modern way of doing traditional practice and it will undo all the aches and pains seated lifestyle brings to your body. Classes are suitable to all levels.

Yin Yoga

The two main characteristics of Yin Yoga practice are holding poses longer and stretching the connective tissue around joints. The use of yoga toys is encouraged to help the body to fully achieve each pose. You will be guided through poses in safe way and given the opportunity to take your practice to the next level with each and every class.

50+ Yoga

Wonderful mix of Forrest and Yin Yoga to bring back and maintain flexibility in the joints. Using strong dynamic yoga poses to improve quality of muscle tone and to correct bad posture all wrapped up in a nurturing breath to increase your energy and self-consciousness.

Birth Preparation

A yoga class that focuses on all the changes you might experience during pregnancy. Uses Forrest Yoga postures and Burrell Education Pregnancy Exercises making sure you get the best possible care throughout pregnancy AND after. Breathe. Get strength. Relax.

 Private Yoga Classes

Private yoga classes address your specific needs aiming to achieve what you are looking for: strength, flexibility, pain relief or/and relaxation. This will give you the chance to deepen your group practice, and to adjust your body to a pose or to adjust a pose to your body, thus avoiding possible injuries.

Office Yoga

Best way to boost morale and productivity in the office. Yoga improves posture, relieves aches from sitting and staring at screens, prevents repetitive-motion injuries like carpal tunnel, and clears the mind. As all my classes that use Forrest Yoga principles it is open to beginners and experts. Choose from morning, lunch-time or afternoon.
